Yoga & Acupuncture Workshop

22nd June 2025 | 14:00 - 16:30 | Location: Mula Yoga Studio

Join us to celebrate this Summer Solstice in a yoga and acupuncture workshop.
Summer is a season of light, warmth, and connection — a time to be expansive, expressive, and in tune with what brings us joy.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), summer is all about the fire element, which governs the heart and the small intestine. It’s considered the most yang season — full of movement and outward energy. This workshop is about tuning into that energy in a way that feels supportive and balanced.
Through a heart-opening yoga flow, calming acupuncture, and guided meditation, we’ll explore how to work with summer’s natural rhythm.
With yoga led by Gina Torres, and acupuncture with Michael Phillips, this workshop will help you feel more connected, grounded, and energised as you move through to the season of summer.
We’ll cover:
🌞 An introduction to Summer in TCM — how the fire element influences your body, emotions, and energy.
🧘‍♀️ Heart-centred yoga flow — to open the chest, stimulate the heart and small intestine meridians, and invite a joyful, expansive feeling into the body.
🪡 Seasonal acupuncture — supporting emotional balance, calming the mind, and helping you avoid the burnout that can come from too much heat or activity.
🧘‍♂️ Guided meditation — to settle into stillness, reflect, and soak in the benefits of the practice.
This is a chance to nourish your heart, move your body, and reconnect with what lights you up. Whether you’re looking to support your wellbeing or simply take some time to yourself, you’re warmly invited to join us.
