Experience the art of moving meditation. In this unique and inspiring class, Jivamukti Yoga teacher, Dean Dalton will guide you through yoga postures. affirmations, and mantras (simple chants) that open and balance the Chakras. More than a series of exercises, this is a complete mind-body-spirit practice.

The class will be structured and include the following practices;

Yoga Nidra (for deep relaxation & awareness)

Introduction to the Chakras

Sun Salutations

Chakra Tuning Class

Meditation

 

In Chakra theory, the human body has seven main energy centres, ‘Chakras’. When these energy centres are healthy and open, so are we; physically, emotionally, in our worldy relationships. But when they are blocked through injury, illness, or a disconnection from others, we are blocked from being our best and true selves.

The word ‘Chakra’ translates to “wheel”, but references a spiritual energy centre within the human body, of which there are seven, starting at the base of the spine, running up through the the neck to the crown of your head,

Working with these energy centres allows energy to flower and life force to flow, giving a sense of happiness, peace, and wholeness.

Rooted in ancient teachings, Chakra Yoga is more relevant today than ever. At a time when many people feel disconnected from themselves and others, it can heal your body and free your heart to move into the future with joy.
